GALP's strategic planning revolves around their belief that there will be a deep transformation impacting the energy sector towards cleaner sources during this decade due to social pressure accelerating decarbonisation pace as well as an expected increase in electric vehicle sales share of electricity consumption. Recently they launched Upcoming Energies -an open innovation platform- where Koolboks' solar refrigeration project won Galp’s start-up global contest which took place on Web Summit last year.
