Mystery Calls from MagicJack: Scam or Mistake?

Upon setting up my MagicJack, I immediately received a call near midnight, which, after research, appears to be a resurrected scam from 2011.

A woman with a Latina accent called, claiming I was on a list to win prizes, but her tone was off-putting

The call was very noisy and the person claimed to be John from DDS, Document Delivery Service, but it was a total scam

This number has call me 15 time in the last few day, I never anser call from unknown number, but my phone blocker alert me that this number is a known scam, it's supposely link to a person name Fanta Kamara, it's definately a scam

We were instructed to call another number to schedual a delivery, despite not expecting any deliveries, this has been ongoing for about a month now.

I get called by this number several times a week, it's a recording saying I'm being investigated by the IRS.

When I received a call asking for someone I didn't know, I explained that there was no one by that name; the caller then asked to leave a message, prompting me to reiterate that the person didn't exist

This number contacted my work phone, with the caller ID displaying 'Phone DC Cell.' The caller left a voicemail, claiming to be from 'Document Delivery Service' and stating that they had attempted to deliver documents to my home address requiring a signature but were unsuccessful. They provided a callback number, 833-698-4692, to reschedule the delivery. I'm skeptical about returning the call.

The caller pretended to be from the IRS, stating a claim was being filed against me and instructing me to call back at a different number, with two calls received today.

It's frustrating to receive unknown calls, so I've made it a habit to ignore numbers I don't recognize, and it seems I'm doing myself a favor based on the comments above.

Upon encountering this individual on the Badoo site, they expressed interest in meeting and subsequently sent a text message from this number, claiming to be from a foreign country. However, when attempting to return the call, it became apparent that the number was not in service, which seemed suspicious. Further research revealed that this number has been flagged as a scam, and it's astonishing how deceitful some people can be.

Utilizing Magic Jack, which can mask the actual location, making it appear as if the call is coming from elsewhere, in this case, Washington D.C., I've discovered that the actual location associated with this number is Orlando, FL, as indicated by Google Maps, leading to a company known as Intermedia, part of a larger scam referred to as The Traffic Authority, fronted by individuals claiming to be Greg Chambers, Doug Wellens, and Chad Stalvy, operating under multiple names including Infinite Leverage System, with no credible reviews and contradictory information, a clear indication of fraud.

I got a call from this number, they claimed to be a public defender and asked for bail money for my brother, saying he was in jail, but its just a scam, they have no shame.
