Most reports describe strange accents, odd voicemail scripts, and repeated hang‑ups—classic hallmarks of a scam operation. If you receive a call, let it go to voicemail, block the number, and report it to your carrier and the FTC. Never share personal or financial details, and consider a call‑blocking app for extra peace of mind.
At 6:52 a.m., a man called, claiming to be from the Brown law firm, inquiring about magazines; surprisingly, this voice had been heard before in a call from Jamaica, which raises suspicions of a magazine scam
Luckily, I didnt answer the call from this number claiming to be from Washington, since I dont have any relatives there and it seemed suspisious.
