How to Spot the Fred Barlow Lottery Scam

Recived a call from some one claiming my husband won $450k, wanted an insurance payment of $925, totaly a scam

A call was received from an individual claiming to be Mr. Fred Barlow, stating that there were unclaimed funds of 450,000, with a case number and instructions to call a different number to arrange payment through FedEx, and also requesting an advance payment of 925.00 for processing

I have received calls from Fred Barlow at 202-410-4896, claiming to be from Consumer Affairs, stating I won $450.00 and asking me to verify my information before directing me to call the Mega Million line to correct my address, which I reported to the Michigan Attorney General department.

Believing there is 'money' to be made will only get you fleeced of all your pennies, there is no such thing as a Federal Agency with that name.
