Beware: Fake Government Grant Calls!
Summary — +12026306175
Expert Opinion
Imagine getting a call promising a $9,000 government grant and then being asked to call back a mysterious number. That red flag should set off your alarm. Scammers often harvest personal details—name, zip, even a code—to appear legit, then try to steer you toward payment methods or personal data theft. Protect yourself by never sharing sensitive info over the phone, especially if you didn’t initiate the contact. Verify any alleged grant directly through official agency websites or known phone numbers. If a call feels off, hang up, block the number, and report it to local consumer protection agencies. Stay skeptical and keep your data locked down.
