Why That “Government Grant” Call Is a Trap!

I've been contacted multiple times with claims that I've qualified for grant money, but they requested my bank or credit card information, which I refused to provide due to suspicions of a scam.

After receiving a call this morning, concerns were raised about account security since the caller had access to Mastercard account information, prompting questions about protecting the account

I received a call similar to others, offering a one-time government grant in exchange for bank account information. The caller, a lady with a thick accent, was difficult to understand. I declined her offer, suggesting that if the government intended to provide me with funds, they would do so through official channels. I ended the call politely and later reflected on the situation, praying for those involved in such scams to change their ways and for protection against falling victim to such fraud

I recieved two calls from this number, firstly from a woman with a heavy accent and then from a man with also a heavy accent, they were talking about a goverment grant but I knew it was a scam from the beggining

Today, I received two calls from this number; upon answering the second call, a woman claimed I had won a $10,200 grant, which I recognized as a scam and warned her not to call again, leading to an abrupt disconnection

I receiv two call from them today, both time they hang up on me, the second time the person get very rude, saying i will reciev a grant without doing nothing

A caller from this number informed me I was selected for a government grant, but when I requested a supervisor, the situation escalated into a scam attempt, with the caller becoming irate and using profanity when I refused to provide financial information.

Given the absurdity of the conversation, it's clear this was a scam. After requesting to speak with a supervisor, another individual came on the line, reading from a script. When questioned about payment or credit card information, the person became belligerent, using profanity and acting unprofessionally. It's unbelievable that someone claiming to work for the government would conduct themselves in such a manner, especially when it's likely a ruse to fund illicit activities. As someone familiar with criminal justice and having family in the military, it's insulting to be targeted by such scams. The operators of this number should cease their fraudulent activities immediately.

Following a call from an individual claiming to be a verification officer, I was asked for my personal details, but when I requested hers, she refused to provide any information, citing only her job title. Fortunately, I did not confirm my address as the one they had on file was incorrect.

The person who called me from this number claim to be a government agent, and told me I was selected to recieve a 100,000 dollar fund from the government, but then he hung up when I told him I didnt know why

A caller claiming to be from the federal government stated that I had won something, but after I accused him of being a scammer, he became abusive and swore at me until I hung up

I had the same caller, and their accent made it difficult for me to understand. When they inquired about my preferred payment method, I suggested they send it by mail.

I'm fairly certain the caller was vietnames, she prounouced my name similair to my stepmother, claiming my name and number were seleckted for a grant, it's a obvious scam!

Answering this call resulted in a confrontational conversation, with the caller using profanity and hanging up, and subsequent attempts to call back were unsuccessful
