Beware: $399 Antivirus Scam Calling Now!
Summary — +12039989042
Expert Opinion
Like a snake shedding its skin, these calls try to disguise a scam as a legitimate service cancellation. The pattern is clear: a robotic voice warns of a $399 charge for anti‑virus software unless you call back within 48 hours, often naming "David Jones" or a vague "V‑Tech Solutions". Privacy‑wise, treat any unsolicited demand for credit‑card info as hostile. Hang up, block the number, and report it to the FTC or your carrier’s spam‑filter service. Never share personal data, and verify any alleged subscription directly with the company’s official website before taking action. Stay skeptical and keep your financial details locked away.
