Perhaps you could provide the name and address of your employer, who allegedly is responsible for these illicit collection calls, instead of trying to defend the scammers?

The caller was attempting to sell internet services, and a reverse lookup confirmed the number belongs to an internet service provider, which has also sent me multiple texts in the past.
I received a message about a failed delivery in my name, so I replied, telling them to find a legitimate job and stop contacting me.
Apparently, there have been several failed delivery attempts to the address on file for LYNNA SPEECE, they are asking me to call them at 888-201-7262, referencing File# 168000
My reaction was similar - utter confusion and frustration, prompting me to block the number.
I just recieved a text from a 206 number about undeliverable documents and they asked me to call a 888 number, it's clearley a scam so I just blocked them
I received a text from this number asking me to call a different number, but it's clearly a scam. The tactic of using a supposed file number to create a sense of urgency is a common ploy. Be cautious and do not respond to such messages.

Supposibly, the same scam arised today with a text message...I dialled the 833 # and went thru the automated prompts, but they sincerly sounded fishy so I just hung up and blocked their numbrs
I have had a similar experience.
Receiving a text with the same misleading information is not only annoying but also unsettling.

It seems that one of their tactics is to contact your family, friends, and employers to create a sence of panic and embarassment, so that you call them back, they will usualy tell them that you are a deadbeat who dont pay your bills, and threaten to contact your HR if you dont call them back
