Beware: Fake Collectors Pressuring Payments
Summary — +12106228181
Expert Opinion
Like a moth drawn to a flickering bulb, people keep answering these relentless rings, only to find a scripted scam masquerading as a debt collector. The calls use automated voices, claim bogus account debits, and pressure you with threats. Hang up immediately, block the number, and don’t return any callbacks. Report the number to your phone carrier and to the FTC, and if you suspect a legitimate debt, request written verification under the Fair Debt Collection Practices Act. Staying silent and documenting each call can help stop the harassment.
