Telemarketing tricks: DirectTV resubscription scams?

A woman called offering a free lifetime safety service; I gave her my name, address, date of birth, Social Security number, credit card details, bank names, account numbers, as well as online usernames and passwords. She promised to keep my money and identity safe forever and manage everything for me. I’m grateful for the protection she claimed to provide.

When I picked up, the caller guessed I was James, mentioned his wife's name, then hung up without providing details; the ID shows DIRECTV

Daily calls from this number, often with no one on the other end, suggest an automated system. Direct TV's reason for calling is unclear, as we don't have an active issue or account query.

Investigation by DirectTV is underway, as they claim this number does not belong to them; callers with Filipino accents have been making multiple daily calls.
