Is This Windows Support Call a Scam?
Summary — +12282850412
Expert Opinion
Recent chatter shows this number surfacing as a pretend Windows support line, repeatedly pressuring users with urgent fix‑or‑shutdown threats. The pattern—mentioning Ohio, Russia, and a vague "Mike McCall"—matches classic tech‑support scams that harvest personal data or push bogus services. Guard against sharing any credentials, and hang up if the caller demands immediate payment or remote access. Verify any alleged Microsoft contact through official channels before acting, and consider blocking the number to curb future attempts.
