Silent WHYY Calls Are Harassing You!
Summary — +12317322082
Expert Opinion
Imagine getting a silent ring from a Michigan land‑line that flashes WHYY on your screen. That’s a classic telemarketing loop tied to public‑radio fundraising, and it slips through Do‑Not‑Call filters because nonprofit groups are exempt. Callers often use auto‑dialers, leave no voicemail, and repeat weekly until you ask to be removed. If you’re fed up, request a formal opt‑out in writing, cite the TCPA, and keep a log of call dates. You can also block the number through your carrier or a third‑party app. For persistent callers, filing a complaint with the FTC can help curb the abuse.
