Stop Those ARO Collection Calls Now

It is puzzling that many of these collectors seem to struggle with leaving coherent messages. Often, the caller's identity and location are unclear, or the message is marred by inaudible mumbling, as was the case with a recent voice mail I received featuring a lady coughing incessantly.

Despite blocking this number on my cell, they've started calling my home phone, which was recently registered under my husband's name, with no messages left

Under British Columbia law, this company's debt collection practices are subject to certain regulations

A woman claiming to already possess my personal information, including name and SIN, still requested my address, which I found suspicious and refused to provide.

Repeated calls from this outfit have been made to my number, with a woman claiming to be looking for someone with my first name regarding a supposed credit card bill from 10 years ago, despite my credit report showing no such obligation.

I do not owe you money in any way shape or form, so do not call again, i will remain anonymous

I live in Ontario, i've never been to BC nor do i have bills there, this is the 2nd call i've got from this company, im not sure why they keep calling and when i did answer there was no one there, it's kinda anoying

Apparently, this number belongs to a legitimate collection agency, not a scammer. If you're certain you don't owe any debt, you can contact them to have your number removed from their database. On the other hand, if you do have outstanding bills, you can use this opportunity to settle your accounts. It's worth noting that the call is toll-free.

This number belongs to Aro, Inc, if we are calling you, its because you owe us money or someone who owes us money used to have your number

Upon researching this number, it appears to be a scam from Aro Inc, a company I have no prior knowledge of, and I will be ignoring any future calls from them.

On April 15, 2009, at 7:19 pm, I received a call from this number, and another from 250-762-7070, despite having no connection to ARO Inc. in Kelowna, BC.

They call every week, saying we owe them money, and if we dont pay, they will take us to court, thats just not true

Threats of court action have been made by a caller claiming to be Lee Johnson or Johnston, asserting that a debt is owed.

The caller requested to speak with me but refused to leave a message.

The person on the other end alleges to be a bill collector, but I have no outstanding debts, making this interaction very troublesome

These calls are equally irritating.
