United Breast Cancer scams—what to watch for!
Summary — +12532209602
Expert Opinion
Repeatedly, callers using the 253‑220‑9602 prefix appear as a spoofed breast‑cancer charity. Callers rely on a pre‑recorded friendly female voice, often ask for donations or credit‑card numbers, and hang up when pressed. The pattern—multiple daily rings, no voicemail, and immediate hang‑ups—matches typical charity‑scam telemarketing. Because the caller ID is easily forged, blocking the number alone rarely stops the flow; you’ll see new spoofed numbers appear. Practical steps include adding the prefix to a reject list, registering with the national Do‑Not‑Call registry, and using a third‑party call‑filter that flags unknown callers. Report persistent abuse to your carrier and consumer‑protection agency.
