One‑Ring Scam: Why You Should Never Call Back!
Summary — +12692663021
Expert Opinion
Imagine getting a one‑ring call that disappears before you can answer—sounds like a classic bait‑and‑switch. These brief, silent drops are typically used to spark curiosity and lure you into calling back, where scammers then push bogus rewards or fees. If your number is on the Do Not Call registry, that doesn’t stop rogue operators; they often harvest numbers from public sites or data breaches. Best practice: let the call go to voicemail, never call back, and add the number to your block list. Report persistent offenders to the FTC and consider a call‑filtering app to keep your line clean.
