Is This “US Grants” Scam Trying to Steal Your Info?
Summary — +13096730151
Expert Opinion
These calls are clearly scam attempts, using fake government titles to coerce personal data and money. Callers throw vague references to the U.S. Treasury or grant offices, often with background noise that hints at a call‑center operation. They may drop a nickname you’ve used online to add credibility, then promise cash in exchange for confirming details. Hang‑ups and profanity are typical pressure tactics. Never share personal or financial info, and block the number promptly. If you receive a voicemail, treat it as suspicious and report it to your carrier or a consumer‑protection agency. A quick lookup of the number often shows it’s disconnected or tied to unrelated entities.
