Why This Utility Scam Keeps Calling You!
Summary — +13122390959
Expert Opinion
It turns out these relentless calls are classic telephone scams targeting both businesses and homeowners. Callers often claim to be from utility firms like Ameren or ComEd, use heavy accents, and resort to threats or vulgar language when you push back. The safest move is to hang up immediately and never share personal or payment details. Block the number on your phone, report it to the FTC and your carrier, and consider adding a call‑filtering service. If a legitimate utility needs to contact you, they’ll use official letters or verified numbers you can find on their website.
