Why This Utility Scam Keeps Calling You!

No message was left on my answering machine.

This guy was absolutly horrible, and he threatened me, saying he's from the power company

My caller ID flagged this number as 'Scam Likely', and the man who answered claimed to be from an electric company, but his story didn't add up.

A caller with a heavy Indian accent, claiming to be from an electric company, contacted me, stating that I had overpaid my bill, and asked me to retrieve my bill, but when I inquired about specific charges and the company's parent organization, the caller became defensive and eventually hung up, leading me to believe it was a scam attempt to obtain my bank information.

A call was received regarding an electric bill, but the caller became aggressive and vulgar after being informed that they had the wrong number.

I recieved a call at 8:00PM, when I answered, all they said was good-bye, basing on the other comments, it's likey a scam call

This number called me, a guy named Tim said he was from the electric company and i was overcharged, i told him this was my work number and we dont have an electric account here, then he called back and was realy rude to me, said somthing pretty inapropiate, then they called me again later and just said hello over and over

This is a scam call thats try to get you to switch your eletric, just hang up

A scammer, posing as Mike from ComEd, called to discuss overpayment, asking to be put on hold, but the call was ended due to suspicious activity.

A man with a strong accent, claiming to be John, called from this number, stating that the verification process for my Ameren account was not completed, despite my confirmation that it had been done previously.

An individual with an Indian accent, claiming his name was 'Mike', contacted our business, purporting to be from Ameren, but his story was unconvincing and I asked him to stop calling.

The caller was repeadly intterupting me, and becuase I didnt want thier services, they became rude and insulting.

The guy was trying to talk to me about my Ameren bill, but when i ask him if he was really from the company, he said no, i hang up on him, but they keep calling me, sometime's several time's a day, it's a total scam

The caller pretended to be from Ameran, but when I questioned them, they claimed to be from Illi oos Power, and when I asked about their location, they hung up after providing inconsistent information.
