Scam Alert: Debt Collector Calls You Every Day

This number continues to call, but when calling back, a different number is provided. It's been found that the original number is linked to a background check company.

After two consecutive days of calls at the same time, it is suspected that this number is related to a fraudulent medical bill collection, as confirmed by the sound of a call being rerouted when the number was called back.

It is essential to remember that alleged debt collectors must provide proof of the debt in question; failure to do so may indicate a scam, and it is crucial to request this verification through mail.

It turns out this number is actually a debt collector, and I do have a medical bill that their client never submited to my insurance
