Apple support scam alerts: what to watch out for!

A pre-recorded message was received, claiming that my iCloud account had been compromised and prompting me to contact a phone number in New York, which is perceived as a nuisance.

The voicemail purported to be from Apple, but the company's methods did not align with this approach, clearly indicating a fraudulent attempt.

Within a span of half an hour, I received six calls with an automated message warning that my iCloud account had been breached and instructing me to call 315-232-8257 before using any Apple devices. This is undoubtedly a scam, and caution should be exercised to avoid falling victim to their tactics.

Be cautious and do not engage with this call, as it falsely claims to be an Apple iCloud breach notification; hanging up and not calling back is advised.

This number has been left on my voicemail as a suposed 'apple support' and calls every 10-20 minits

This is a callback number from a phishing scam, initial call's are made from area code 408

Numerous fraudulent attempts have been made through calls from various numbers disguising theirselves with a local area code and prefix, but altering the suffixes, a clear indicaton of piracy...the call back number doesnt get identifed as appart of apple. Its extreemly frustrating, and unfortunatly some indivijuals may fall victim to this scam, especally considering the advanced tecnologies avalible, a reliable solution to combat such scams should be implemented.

Repeated calls with spoofed numbers claiming to be from Apple, requesting that I contact them, have become incredibly annoying and are likely a scam.
