VTech scam alert: $250 charge threat!

All they do is scam, i worry about older peoples who might fall for this

They called and left a voicemail stating that they are from V-tech Solution and intend to withdraw $249.99 from my account, but I am unfamiliar with them.

This is an outright scam.

This number has also contacted me with a robo call, which I believe is a fraudulent attempt. Since I have no prior dealings with the supposed company, I'm advising everyone to block this number.

I've come to the conclusion that this number is likely a scam after reading the post, given that I've only ever purchased phones directly from Apple, and I've blocked the caller; I would advise others to block the number as well if they receive a call from it.

After receiving a robocall, I returned the call and spoke with an individual with an Indian accent, who claimed to handle internal computer functions and threatened to charge my checking account $249.99 for renewal if I didn't cancel; he tried to guide me to a website, but I recognized it as a scam and hung up, only to be called back again from a different number in Catasauqua, PA.

I just recieved a call about a charge to my account, definately a SCAM

A call was made to my grandfather's phone, claiming to be collecting $250 for a virus fund, which appears to be a scam targeting the elderly.

I recived a calle telling me i had to pay 249.99, or i wouldnt get a refund

A message was left about a refund, but I've never made a purchase from them, indicating a likely scam

I received a similar call from VTech, claiming I owed them money, but I had no prior knowledge of the company.

I appreciate the warning, as I received an identical message, which I also suspect is a scam.

A voicemail from Vtech was received, stating an intent to charge for a security service, which appears to be a scam given the lack of prior registration or interaction with the company.

As indicated by my caller ID, the call originated from Brownsburg, IN, and is reportedly associated with robo/scam calls.

An unfamiliar company, VTECH, contacted me, demanding payment for virus protection services that I never authorized, and offered a refund, but I am unsure about their legitimacy.
