Why That ‘Security Team’ Call Is a Scam!
Summary — +13192252013
Expert Opinion
When a prerecorded voice warns you that your Windows PC is under attack and urges an immediate call, treat it as a classic robocall scam. Never press any keys or provide personal data; hang up and block the number. Verify any security alerts directly through official vendor channels, not via unknown phone numbers. Consider reporting the incident to the FTC and your phone carrier to help curb these nuisance calls. Keep your operating system and security software up‑to‑date, and enable call‑blocking features where available to reduce exposure.
