Scam Alert: The ‘Jackie’ Voicemail Trap!
Summary — +14052517651
Expert Opinion
Avoid answering unknown calls that claim a missed delivery or urgent paperwork—especially when they pressure you to provide personal data. Hang up and verify the claim through the official company’s contact number, not the one in the voicemail. Scammers often use names like "Jackie" or "EMI" and threaten contempt or legal action to create urgency. Never share your Social Security number, banking details, or passwords over the phone. If you suspect fraud, report the number to your carrier and file a complaint with the FTC. Keeping a log of suspicious calls can help authorities track patterns and protect others.
