Scam Alert: Stop the cacat@nuvox.net Spam Calls Now!

I just recieved a simmilar call, but i didnt call back, as it's clear that it's a scam attepmting to fish for peoples debit/credit card informations!

I attemptted to call the number back from a landline, and I beleive they are trying to steal money; no legitamate company would ask for debit card informations, and the bank would usualy inform you of such requests, so be cautious and dont fall for it, it's not just limited to Verizon, my wife who uses Cricket also recieved a suspicious text.

A text message was received from this number, referencing a restricted debit card and instructing me to contact another number, which appears to be a scam and warrants immediate attention from one's bank or credit union.

I got a text to call this number, when I did, they claimed my debt card was restricted, but they didnt give me the name of the company, and then they asked for my debt card number, this is a scam and should be reported imediatly

I get a text to call this number, but i dont think i will, it just a scam, people have nothing better to do than try to rip other people off

When I called the number, I was greeted by a robotic voice that informed me that my debit card had been restricted and requested that I enter my 16-digit card number to resolve the issue. I recognized this as a scam and refused to provide my card information. I am unsure if this incident is related to a recent interaction with Verizon, as I paid my bill the previous night.
