Why Are You Getting “Consumer Debt Relief” Scam Calls?

A robotic voice claims to be from Credit Card Services, stating that I need to contact them urgently to lower my interest rate, which supposedly expires soon, and prompts me to press a number to speak to an operator or discontinue the calls.

Thanks to the community, this scam, originating from Geneva, Florida, has been identified

The caller identified themselves as CONSMR DEBT RLF, but I chose not to answer, and they did not leave a voicemail message.

I got a mesage on my mobile about debt relief, but it was incomplete so I blocked the number

The caller left a message, saying something about eligibilty for lowering my interest rate to 1 percent

A robo-call was received from this number claiming to have important credit card information, but it was immediately hung up on and blocked.

This number is associated with a credit card interest rate reduction scam, attempting to deceive unsuspecting individuals.

The caller ID say Consumer Debt Relief, but its just another scam, they have alot of different number but its all the same thing

Immediately disconnecting unrecognized calls is my strategy, hoping it will lead phone bots to believe the number is inactive, and legitimate callers will try again, meanwhile I maintain a block list and have been on the do-not-call registry for over a decade

Apparently, this number is associated with a robocall that leaves partial messages regarding fake notices and interest rate reductions, which is utter nonsense. It's best to block the number and ignore the calls.

A message was left on my cell phone, which ultimately proved to be a variant of the interest-rate scam.

Despite being registered on the Do Not Call list, my landline received a call from this number, and no message was left.

Daily calls have been made to the recipient's cell phone, with no voicemail being left, and the landline, now unplugged, was previously subject to similar calls

The caller ID showed CONSMR DEBT RLF, and the message was about a final notice under the financial stimulus, I hope its realy my last call from them, but I doubt it.
