Expert Opinion
Heads up—calls from +14087408754 are almost always a tech‑support scam. They’ll claim your PC is infected, demand remote access, and push pricey "fixes" or bogus refunds. Let the call go to voicemail, block the number, and never grant control of your system. If you’re unsure, hang up and verify any claims directly with the official company using a known contact method. Keep your anti‑virus updated and consider reporting persistent callers to the FTC or your phone carrier. Staying skeptical and protecting your credentials is the best defense.

Following an incident in early April where my computer was compromised, I received calls from this number. The caller claimed to be from MS, requesting access to my computer, which I initially granted. However, when they asked me to purchase a program to fix the issue, I became suspicious and ended the call. I subsequently contacted the actual MS service, confirming that the previous caller was a scammer. I continue to receive daily calls from 408-740-8754, but they do not accept incoming calls and hang up when confronted.
