Why That Urgent Windows Call Is a Scam!

Expert Opinion
Imagine fielding yet another robo‑call warning you that your Microsoft license has expired. The pattern here is unmistakable: a recorded voice, urgent language, and a request to press 1 or call a toll‑free number. These calls originate from spoofed IDs that often show Bridgeville, PA, but the true source is a call‑center operation exploiting the hype around software updates. To stay safe, let the call go to voicemail, never press any keys, and block the number. If you’re curious, search the toll‑free digits online—most reports flag them as fraudulent. Reporting the number to your carrier and the FTC can help curb the spam.
Key takeaways: don’t engage, block the caller, and report the scam.

I recieved an unsoliceted call from someone claiming to be with Microsoft, stating that our licenses have expired, which is a known scam, and the caller-ID displayed a fake location, Bridgeville, PA.
They said they were calling about afforadable medicare, but I told them I'm not intrested, the caller ID said Vitelity LLC.
I apreciate the warning alot, unfortunately i didnt get there in time to answer and they didnt leave a message
The owner of this number might be a con artist, or maybe even Don LaPree's ghost, thats whats being speculated
A computer-generated voice alerted me to an alleged Windows license expiration, providing a toll-free number, which seems suspicious.
This is a scam, they pretend to be from Microsoft, saying I need to pay my license fee or my computer will be shut down, which is unlikely
