Telemarketer Posing as IT Support – What to Do?
Summary — +14152310578
Expert Opinion
Stop answering calls that demand an IT manager without identifying a real company. Let the call go to voicemail and review the message before deciding to return it. If the caller refuses to state a product or service, hang up and add the number to your block list. Use a call‑screening app to flag repeat offenders and report the number to your carrier or the FTC. When a heavy accent or vague "cyber security" claim appears, treat it as a red flag and never share internal details. Keep a log of timestamps and any recorded info – it helps when filing complaints.
