Robocall Scam Demands $399 Payment!
Summary — +14173441474
Expert Opinion
Most reports point to a classic robocall scam targeting consumers with a fake $399 anti‑virus charge and a 48‑hour cancellation ultimatum. Callers consistently claim to be Alex Thompson from a supposed VTech Solutions, use a robotic American accent, and often route the call through Indian call centers. The safest move is to never return the call or provide personal data, and to block the offending number through your carrier or a third‑party app. Report the incident to the FTC and your phone provider, and consider placing a fraud alert on your credit files if you suspect any unauthorized activity.
