As a former debt collector, it's apparent they dont leave messages because legally they cant call for 3 days after doing so, also most autodialers dont work with voicemail systems
It's likley that they dont leave a message becuase they are trying to collect an overdue payment and dont want to leave a recorded message that anyone can hear, thats why there is no message
