Beware the Fake PayPal Invoice Phone Scam!

An email was received claiming I had purchased a Metaverse lot for nearly $800 and instructed me to contact Tammy Brandon. However, the email was sent from my own address, and the purchase was falsehood - this is a clear scam.

An email notification was received regarding a supposed PayPal transaction of $953, which is clearly a phishing attempt.

Today, I received an email claiming my order was on its way, with instructions to call a provided number if there were any issues; however, upon checking my account, no unfamiliar activity was found, and I reported the email to PayPal as instructed

The scammers employ a tactic where they send an email with a fake Pay Pal logo, claiming you need to confirm an order. Rest assured, Pay Pal never resorts to such methods and would not request order confirmation via email. Upon investigating my Pay Pal account, I found no suspicious activity or orders. It's crucial to refrain from engaging with this email or calling the number.
