Fido scam call? What to watch out for!
Summary — +14378863293
Expert Opinion
Earlier today I got a buzz of reports flagging the +14378863293 line as a persistent telemarketing outreach. Callers claim to be from the Fido Winback team, flaunting detailed personal data to boost credibility and push a new cell‑phone plan. While some recipients say the pitch felt legit, the unsolicited nature and request for credit‑card details are classic red flags. If you receive such a call, hang up, verify the offer directly with your carrier, and consider blocking the number. Report the incident to your phone provider and the national spam registry to help curb future calls.

Apparently this is acually Fido's winback team coz they calld me with a plan that sounds way too good to be true but i cheked it out with them and they put a note on my account and everything checks out. I ended up signin up and been usin the plan for a couple months now - its def legit. You do have to give em your credit card info when you sign up tho but thats just normall for cell phone plans... confirm it for yourself tho obvi

After confirming personal information, thinking it was legitimate, concerns arise about potential misuse of this information, and assistance is needed.
just got a cal from 'fido winback team' at this number and they were offerin a plan thats actualy pretty fire... cheked it out with fido and its real, been usin it for a bit now
It's unsettling to know that they have acces to my personal info, including my adress, birthdate, and even the last digits of my card and ID.
Its kinda sketched how they got all this info bout me - knows my adress, birthdate, last digits of my card and id... how do they even get all that?!
They offer me a good plan, but when i tell them i already have a plan with bell, they say they will call me back, seem like a telemarketing scam
