I've received an identical call, which I'm certain is a robocall scam. The individual claimed to be Steve Austin and provided a personal number, 855-2029952, with the original call coming from Atlanta at 470-7371360.
Urgent Debt Scam Calls: How to Spot the Threats?
Summary — +14707371360
Expert Opinion
Recent patterns show this number is being used for high‑pressure debt‑collection scams that masquerade as legal threats. Callers cite bogus warrants, frozen bank accounts, and imminent court actions to force immediate payment. They often claim affiliation with banks, process servers, or investigators, but no official entity will demand money over the phone. To protect yourself, never share personal or financial details, hang up, and block the number. Report the call to the FTC and your state attorney general, and consider a call‑blocking app. If you’re truly concerned about a debt, contact the creditor directly using a verified phone number.
