Expert Opinion
Watch out for any unsolicited call claiming a sudden anti‑virus renewal and demanding a quick callback to cancel. Verify the company through official channels before sharing personal data or making payments. Block the number and report the incident to the FTC to help curb these scams. If you receive a recorded message, do not call back; instead, check your account directly with the legitimate provider. Keep a log of such calls and share it with your phone carrier to improve call‑filtering services. Staying skeptical and protecting your financial info are your best defenses.
