VINE offender alerts: Why they won’t stop calling

The frequent daily calls, sometimes up to 6 times, are extremely annoying and I'm looking for a way to stop them

Apparently, VINE (Victim Information and Notification Everyday) makes legitamate calls to inform about prisoner movements or releases, requiring signup to recieve these calls, otherwise they'll keep calling till you verify with your pin#, which is kinda anoying if your not intersted

This number continuously calls at inconvenient hours, refusing to identify itself

I was awakened by calls from 502-213-2798 on multiple mornings and at other times.

GTL, accessible at http://www.gtl.net/, has been identified as the caller

Every two hours, like clockwork, this number calls, even early in the morning, making it a significant nuisance.

Robocalls to my cell phone alerted me to a purported court case, but after investigating, I found no evidence of it, and the provided case number and defendant were fictional.

This number is probaby from a request that somebody you know is out of jail, or something

This number has made numerous calls, with recordings asking for a 4-digit PIN to access requested information, resulting in over 60 calls in three days.

After two days of recieving calls, including during the night, the issue was finaly resolvd by listening to the message, and it was discovered that the pin was the last 4 digits of my phone number, although it was a hassle to delete over 30 voice mails.
