Is Tru Blu a scam or legit telemarketer?

When they called asking to speak with the owner, I informed them that I wasn't available. They politely ended the call, stating they would try again later. Despite their frequent calls, which occur about twice a month from different numbers, I remain uninterested in their offerings. Hopefully, they won't discover my responses here and adjust their strategy.

Following a call from 716-623-4681, I encountered an automated message promoting zero percent debit and one percent credit card offers. However, further discussion revealed undisclosed pre-transaction fees that would significantly increase my current expenses. When transferred to Patrick, who had a Filipino accent and was in a noisy environment, I shared our company's annual revenue of over 25 million dollars. He briefly paused before proceeding, eventually calling back from 503-542-4243 to confirm our monthly revenue. Despite my inquiries about the gateway processor, he failed to provide a clear answer. To further investigate, I scheduled a meeting at an office located near the Federal Trade Commission, curious to see how this situation would unfold.

Apparently, this company employs illicit auto-dialing methods to initiate mass calls, utilizing local or in-state area codes to reach targets; as a credit card processing entity, interactions are typically with computer systems, which become evident when asking questions like 'what's the current day?' or 'is it raining?' - they cannot respond and will disconnect; after navigating through prompts and speaking with representatives named Ross and Jessie, they hung up when I requested company details; I suggest reporting them to the FTC, given their Portland, OR office, and filing a complaint with the state's finance division, especially since they used a caller ID of 232-422-4756 to contact me.

Our office received a call at 9:48 am from 'TRU BLU' on our landline, but we did not answer and the caller did not leave a message. Given our lack of business ties in Oregon and recent sporadic calls from the area, we are considering blocking the entire 503 area code.
