Bernett Research survey calls—how to stop them!

It's worth noting that when you call the number back at the end of a recorded message they say something about how they can not reveal who is funding their research, otherwise they can get biased answers if we knew? lol, it makes me wounder who exactly is funding it and why they want to know whatever it is they were calling about in the first place. Repeated calls from these individuals occur any day of the week, and after answering, they were asked to remove our number from their list; however, the person on the other end was extremely impolite, and it seems their approach to surveys is misguided, especially considering our phone is registered on the do not call list, which they violated, and they called again two days later, fortunately, our phone service provider has a useful call-blocking feature

The purpose of their calls is unclear - are they conducting legitimate surveys or attempting to deceive with fake lottery winnings?

Thanks to the shared information here, I've identified these callers and utilized my phone's built-in call block feature to stop their persistent calls.

This company has been calling me frequently, despite my initial request to cease contact, demonstrating a lack of regard for my wishes.

Identified as Bernett Research company, this Portland, Oregon-based number makes calls even on Sundays. Attempts to remove from the call list are underway, highlighting the need for an updated 'Do Not Call' registry that requires permission for all calls, including those from political parties.

Fortunately, my cable company's call rejection feature has allowed me to block this number, and I've never received calls from them under any other number, so hopefully this will resolve the issue.

Today i recieved one call from this number every hour for 5 hours, i finaly answered and the guy was very rude, i dont apreciate this kind of behavour.

Although Trent Boot no longer works at Barnet, the number still functions; calling them to request being placed on their no-call list may help, despite their claim of being exempt as a survey company.
