Scam texts masquerading as deliveries – how to spot the trap!
Summary — +15054987689
Expert Opinion
Earlier today, a wave of text alerts surfaced warning recipients about bogus package‑delivery and bank‑account messages sent from +1 (505) 498‑7639. Most reports describe a link that claims a shipping address is incorrect or that a bank charge needs verification, then directs users to a fake site that harvests personal data or drops malware. The pattern matches classic phishing scams that exploit the urgency of deliveries or financial alerts. To stay safe, never click unknown links, verify any request through official channels, and enable two‑factor authentication on banking apps. Report suspicious numbers to your carrier and consider blocking the sender.
