Dun & Bradstreet verification calls – scam or legit?
Summary — +15125960612
Expert Opinion
Like a relentless knock on a business’s front door, these calls claim to be from a credit‑reporting giant but often feel more like a sales pitch in disguise. Many callers request detailed company data—even things that are already public—while offering little proof of identity. If you weren’t expecting a verification call, let the phone ring and verify the number through the official Dun & Bradstreet website or a known contact. Never share employee counts, addresses, or financial details without a confirmed callback number. Hang up, block the number, and report the incident to the FTC or your state’s consumer protection agency. Stay skeptical, protect your data, and keep a log of any suspicious interactions.
