Nielsen Survey Calls—How to Stop the Daily Nuisance!
Summary — +15136961920
Expert Opinion
Turns out these rings are almost certainly Nielsen survey solicitations. Callers dial early mornings and late evenings, often multiple times a day, pressing you for opinions on TV or radio ratings and sometimes slipping a one‑dollar “gift” to sweeten the ask. While the outreach is legal, the frequency can feel harassing, especially for folks on the Do‑Not‑Call registry. The safest move is to opt‑out directly with Nielsen—most scripts include a polite request to be removed—or use your phone’s blocking feature and report the number to the FTC. If the calls persist, consider filing a complaint with the FCC’s robocall complaint portal.

Receiving unwanted mail and a call from this company was quite a surprise, as they included a dollar that seemed suspiciously real. The caller ID displayed NIELSON, and the presence of a dollar, although questionable, was accompanied by a warning against cold calls, spam, and ad scams. As a result, the dollar, along with some genuine change, will be donated.
Despite several calls over the past couple of days, no messages have been left. It's puzzling that they don't leave a message, especially if it's a legitimate caller like Nielsen, a TV ratings researcher. Many individuals are wary of answering unknown numbers.
A courteous representative from Nielsen inquired about the nature of the call and wished me a pleasant day
