IRS warrant scam call – how to protect yourself?

The caller claimed to represent Amazon's fraud department, stating that an attempt had been made to purchase a refurbished iPhone using my credit card, but when I requested verification of their identity, they hung up

The caller claimed I was involved in a fraudulent case and threatened court action if I didn't return the call. It's a clear scam

During the last hour, I received multiple missed calls from various numbers, and this particular number was the only one that left a voicemail, claiming I owed money to the IRS, which is quite frustrating

Similar thing happend to me, I recieved the same robot voicemail on Wednesday, I tried calling back several times but my calls kept getting dropped

A person claimed I was under investigation for $8000 and ther was a warrent out for my arrest, they asked me for my mailing adress.

They claim I owe over 8000 dollars in taxes from 2012, which seems extreemly unlikely

Similar to the prevous comment, they cald me claiming i'm going to be arrestd, totaly ridicolous and very anoying, what a scam!
