LECAFLE scam calls – how to protect yourself
Summary — +15415053487
Expert Opinion
Skip answering unknown numbers—these calls are a classic scam. Callers identify themselves as “LECAFLE” or a police‑related charity, then go silent or push for a yes answer to fake fundraising requests. They often hang up when pressed for details, and the pattern matches typical robocall scams. Protect yourself by adding the number to your phone’s block list, reporting it to the FTC, and confirming any charitable appeal directly with the organization’s official contact channels. Never share personal or banking info, and let legitimate agencies handle any legal or law‑enforcement matters. Stay skeptical and keep your DNC registration up‑to‑date.

The phone rang multiple times before my answering machine picked up, but the caller had already disconnected.
Repeated calls are being made daily, with the callers adopting an air of importance and insisting on completing their sales pitch, allegedly for police or sheriff's office fundraising purposes, and they request to speak with the financial decision-maker; when asked for banking information, they decline to provide it, which is suspect.
