Arizona Dept of Revenue scam? What to watch for!

The caller's claim of being from the Arizona IRS appears suspicious and shady.

It has come to my attention that this is a fake number, and for reference, the legitimate contact information for Arizona State Revenue is (602) 255-3381 and azdor.gov/contact-us.

This number appears to be fraudulent

It is worth noting that numerous individuals are responding to scam reports with elaborate explanations of their legitimacy, which is not the case; it is essential not to provide personal information over the phone, as official contacts are typically made via mail.

A call was received from this number, purportedly from the AZ Dept of Revenue, claiming unpaid taxes and threatening an audit. However, upon investigation, it appears to be a scam, as official communications would have been made in writing

Totaly a waste of time, they dont deserve no informations, thier a SCAM, SCAM, SCAM!!

Dont call back this number, its a spam, they said they are from the IRS, but its not true

Given our family situation, with grandchildren and no business, it's clear that the Department of Revenue's alleged reason for the call is a scam, as they typically communicate via mail.

I have no connection to Arizona, either personally or professionally.

A woman claiming to be Kelli contacted me, asserting that a business tax was unpaid, but I had already paid the tax in question, and I told her to cease contacting me, suggesting she focus on more pressing issues in Arizona.

A message was left by a middle-aged woman's voice, which was very staticky, claiming to be from the unemployment office, however the name didnt match mine. They provided an alternate phone number with a Tucson area code (520-770-3102) to return the call, but I havnt bothered to call back.

I recived a suspicious cal, the woman said she was from child suport and that a payment went missing arond Christmas.
