Expert Opinion
Imagine a stranger calling you out of the blue, shouting that you’ve won a free trip or prize—only to keep dialing when you hang up. That’s the hallmark of the “Trip Joy Advantage” telemarketing scam that’s been flooding the 603‑685‑xxxx block. These callers harvest old sign‑up sheets from events and use high‑pressure tactics to force a sale. Never give personal or financial info to an unsolicited caller, and let the call go to voicemail so you have a record. Block the number, report it to your carrier, and add it to the National Do Not Call Registry. If the call persists, consider filing a complaint with the FTC.
