Expert Opinion
Heads up: calls flashing a "New York Vietnam" name are often scam donation pitches that target seniors and charitable donors. These callers frequently ring at odd hours, leave no voicemail, and pressure you for money under the guise of veteran support. If you don't recognize the number, let it go to voicemail and verify the organization through the IRS Exempt Organizations Search before giving any funds. Add the number to your phone’s block list, report it to the FTC and your carrier, and consider registering or updating your Do‑Not‑Call preferences. Staying skeptical and using call‑filter tools can keep unwanted solicitations at bay.
