Who’s Sharon? Spotting the Google‑front‑page scam
Summary — +16122611758
Expert Opinion
Ever wonder why a stranger named Sharon keeps calling from a Minnesota number promising a Google front‑page boost? The pattern matches a classic phone scam: a recorded greeting, press‑1 for a “representative” and press‑2 to opt‑out, then a dead‑end voicemail. Callers often hide behind generic titles like “local Google specialist” to appear legitimate. If you receive such a call, let the phone go to voicemail, never share personal data, and block the number. Report the incident to the FTC and your carrier, and regularly update your spam‑filter settings. Staying skeptical and using the opt‑out option can stop future nuisance calls.

This number has been calling my cell phone from Minnesota, so I have blocked it
The call initiated by 'Sharon' claiming to offer a front-page listing on Google for my supposed business, which I don't own, was clearly a random and misguided marketing attempt, and I opted to be removed from their call list.
Sharon is identified as our local Google specialist
