Discover‑impersonating scam calls—how to protect yourself
Summary — +16147582389
Expert Opinion
Heads up: repeated calls from +16147582389 are likely spoofed attempts pretending to be Discover. Treat any unsolicited request for personal data with skepticism, especially if the caller pressures you to act quickly. Verify the number against the official Discover customer‑service line printed on your card or on the company’s website before returning the call. Never share passwords, Social Security numbers, or banking details over a phone that you didn’t initiate. Use your phone’s block feature or add the number to a spam blocklist, and report the incident to the FTC and your carrier. Staying vigilant keeps your information safe.
