Telemarketing scams targeting disability benefits!

Expert Opinion
Yesterday evening, callers posing as NTI representatives promised work‑from‑home jobs that wouldn’t affect Social Security benefits. The pitch sounds polished, but the lack of official verification and the request for personal data are red flags. Before sharing personal info, call the Social Security Administration directly using the number on their official website, not the one on a voicemail. Block the unknown caller, report the number to the FTC and file a complaint with the FBI’s Internet Crime Complaint Center. Keep records of the call, and never sign agreements or provide banking details until you confirm the organization’s legitimacy. Finally, stay skeptical of any offer that seems too good to be true, especially if the caller can’t provide a legitimate source.
