Melissa’s fake court‑paper scam – how to protect yourself!

i had a similar experience, where a voicemail message claimed that i had a warrant for my arrest in georgia, which is absurd since i've never been to the state, and also mentioned serving me papers at my residence

I recieve a vm, it seem like a scam, the person say she need to deliver sealed court documents.

Despite being on the government's Do Not Call List, I have received over 25 calls from this person in a month, with today being the first time a call-back number was provided; I intend to report this to the government rather than engaging with the scammer.

A voicemail was left stating i would recieve papers at my home or workplace, i called back and spoke with Jason, who was extremly rude and degrading, he even used racial slurs, he bullied us into thinking we defaulted on a payday loan, which we never took out, fortunately i looked up the number and saw others with the same experience, get a real job, thats my advise.
