Express Direct scam texts – what to watch for
Summary — +16362037003
Expert Opinion
Take note: dozens of users report receiving bogus texts from a source branding itself as Express Direct that claim a nonexistent Express or Mastercard has been suspended. The messages typically include a short‑code and a call‑back number (1‑636‑203‑7003), urging you to input card details to “verify” or “release” funds. This pattern matches a classic scam that harvests personal and financial data, often masquerading as a carrier‑linked courtesy call. If you receive such a text, do not reply, click links, or provide any numbers. Block the sender, report it to your carrier, and file a complaint with the FTC.
